Community Level 2 – Familiar

Materials: None

How To Play: Players circle up and select one player to be the
first Moose to call out the name of a classmate. When a player’s name is
called, she puts both hands up to her ears with fingers spread out to
look like the antlers of a moose. At the same time, the player to the
right puts up his left hand to help make one horn and the player on the
left puts up his hand to make the other. The player whose name was
called quickly calls upon another player to do the same. This requires
players to pay attention to the player to their left and right side at
all times. Once a player misses a cue to put her hand or hands up, she
sits down.

Plan for Success: Model good listening before playing. This game is all about paying attention!
