As a parent volunteer, Sarah worked at New
City School, the public charter school in Northeast Minneapolis that leaders of
The Origins Program founded. Sarah saw first-hand how our strategies link
social growth to academics. (Who doesn’t love the idea of playing games while
learning?!)
She comes
from a small town in northern Minnesota whose schools were early adopters of
our approaches. She’s proud to be from a community that shares similar values
with the community she works in daily.
