Embark on a journey of innovation and inspiration at our two-day High School Advisory Workshop, aligned with the CASEL (Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning) 5 Core Competencies. Prepare for immersive experience designed to elevate your advisory skills, fostering an equitable and supportive learning environment.

  • Learn and practice Developmental Designs Advisory four-part routine that brings security, clarity, community, and closure to every advisory.
  • Gain practical techniques for fostering a positive advisory culture, enhancing Relationship Skills.
  • Explore strategies for effective communication with diverse student personalities, promoting Social Awareness.
  • Acquire tools to address academic and personal challenges, aligned with Self-Awareness and Responsible Decision-Making.
  • Have fun with the Power of Play while network with like-minded educators committed to student well-being.
  • Leave with 30 Advisory plans adaptable for grades 9-12 as well as several, games, greeting and discussion ideas.

All Origins workshops are highly interactive, providing many opportunities for you to talk with other educators and ask your most compelling questions to workshop facilitators.

Workshop schedule

Most workshops begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m.

Lunch arrangements for on-site workshops will be subject to the school agreement.

Certificate of attendance

You will receive a 14-hour certificate of attendance for participation in the entire workshop.
