Community Level 1 – Acquainted

Materials: None

How To Play: A player is interviewed by the rest of the players
as if he were appearing on a talk show. The player is introduced to the
group by another player, and then anyone can ask a question, starting
with, “What is a hobby of yours?” and following up with questions about
the hobby. You can choose other kinds of opening questions, such as,
“What is your biggest dream in life?” or “Tell us about a time when you
really enjoyed yourself.”

Community Level 1 – Acquainted

Materials: None

How to Play: The person who begins the activity says “Zoom!” and turns their head quickly to a neighbor on either the right or the left. That person passes the zoom to the next person and so on around the circle. The idea is to go as fast as you can. You can challenge the group to go faster and use a stop watch to time them.

Community Level 1 – Acquainted

Materials: None

Materials: Pieces of 9′ elastic for each group; blindfolds (optional)

How To Play: In groups of 4 to 6, players use a 9′ piece of
elastic to recreate a drawn geometric shape as exactly as possible. The
groups are shown a series of figures, one at a time; the figures are
progressively more challenging. All players must have contact with the
elastic at all times. Groups are given an unlimited time and all groups
must finish. Finished groups can assist or observe other groups.
